Spotify confirmed that they removed the sound control from the Spotify Xbox app. The community moderator who clarified this said we need to submit it as an 'Idea' to get it back. If you use Spotify on Xbox please consider following the link below and liking the idea or else it will be ignored. If you are using the 7th generation of iPod Touch, congratulations, you are totally fine to enjoy Spotify music with Spotify App on your iPod Touch. For the 6th generation of iPod Touch's users, they will need to upgrade their device to get compatible with the latest Spotify App, which is a little troublesome.
Spotify is compatible with all the iPod classic models, as well as the iPod shuffle and iPod nano. Any iPod that connects via a USB cable connection, rather than the very first model that required a FireWire connection (isn’t there a museum you can donate that to?), will work. One exception is the iPod touch: You need to download Spotify’s mobile app to listen to local tracks. The instructions in the following section apply only to the classic, nano, and shuffle iPod versions.
